Well this was a surprise for me form my dear husband on our anniversary . He made a chocolate and nuts cake , but the real surprise was that how he made the cake as he barely cook . I asked him and his reply was again a surprise for me as he said I reproduce one of your earlier published recipe step by step with a twist of nuts and dry fruits. He even took photographs for me and said this one is for you. It's a cake for a wonderful and loving relationship. So let's start the recipe as per Mr. Husband's direction.yum

Ingredients:
175 gm Self raising flour/all purpose flour
175 gm castor sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
50 gm cocoa powder
100 gm chopped nuts
75 gm unsalted butter
50 ml full cream milk
100 ml water

For decorating:
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup melted chocolate
1 tablespoon icing sugar
4 strawberries , chopped

Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degree.
Sieve flour , sugar , baking powder and cocoa powder together in a bowl.
Melt butter in a pan on low heat for 1/2 minute. Take melted butter , milk and water in a bowl. Whisk together for 5 minutes.

Fold in the dry ingredients in wet ,slowly with continuous stirring. Add chopped nuts and whisk again for 5 minutes.

Grease and flour a 7 inch baking tin and pour batter in.Bake at 180 degree for 30 minute until a toothpick , inserted in the centre,comes out clean.

For decorating:
Spread melted chocolate all over the cake. Arrange chopped nuts .Sprinkle icing sugar through strainer and arrange strawberry slices as per your choice.

Serve chilled.

Serve -10 pieces. Baking time 30-40 minute
Note : You may use your own frosting for decoration.
Sieve dry ingredients 2-3 times for better results.
